Kevin Kramp is a men's knitwear designer whose work is beautiful, innovative, sophisticated, high-concept, sexy and wearable. He combines exaggerated, bold, soft and beautifully refreshing shapes with luxury fibers of angora, mohair, cashmere, wool, cotton, textured silks and nylons, in a wide range of colours, stitch techniques and jacquard patterns.
Kramp received a first Bachelor's degree in Visual Art with a concentration in Italian Studies from Brown University, and a second Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design with Knitwear from London's world-famous Central St. Martins College of Art and Design. He has apprenticed and worked with designers and creatives from around the world, including in London: Victoria Beckham, Clare Tough, Hector de Gregorio, Liria Pristine. In New York: Richard Tyler Couture, Paper Magazine, Morgan d'Alessandro, Carlos Miele, Constanca Basto. In Italy: Massimo Pulini, Egidio Lomi, Gianni Moretti. In Brazil: Marcia Ganem, Cristiano Alves Borges.
Kramp's degree collection at Central St. Martins immediately caught the attention of the global fashion industry, and his work has since been featured at the Pitti Filati knit exhibition in Florence, Italy, the Swedish Fashion Council's seasonal trend report, London's Royal Automobile Club annual member gala, photograhped in Greece, Turkey and London, and collection pieces are now carried in select boutiques in London and Paris.
Kramp is the recipient of The May Company Flexible Flyer Award, Brown University Creative Arts Council Award, Pratt Institute Creative Grant, Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to Brazil, and was a finalist in design competitions including L'Oreal Professionnel: 100 Years of Colour, and NuLook t-shirt design.
